I am not entirely unhappy, but I am not happy as often as I'd like. I can be angry, anxious, edgy...and it has affected my life in such a way that I know I need to take real action to change it. I've always been skeptically enthusiastic about "self-help" books, but as I was sitting in the waiting room at the auto shop, waiting for my oil to be changed, I came across an article about happiness. My ex-fiance's words immediately popped into my head..."You aren't happy." I had to read the article, which was about a book/project by Gretchen Rubin called "The Happiness Project". I bought it that day, and I am not finished yet, but I know I need to do this. For myself, and for my future, and for all of those in my life that I love and that love me.
